How to Create a Basic CDS view in SAP HANA ABAP

Click on New DDL Source
























Enter the Name and description of the view and click on next button

Enter the Transport request or save under local object and click on Next button.

Select the 'Define View' Template and click on Finish button

Below screen will appear

Change the @AbapCatalog.sqlViewName: 'sql_view_name' = @AbapCatalog.sqlViewName:’ZCDS_BASIC_VIEW1

data_source_name = KNA1 and click on Activate button

Now run the view like below
